Husky is working to increase employment opportunities for members of designated groups (women, Aboriginal peoples, persons with disabilities and members of visible minorities). Husky also encourages corporations or cooperatives owned by designated groups in the supply of goods and services. You can learn more about Husky’s diversity plan for the West White Rose Project here.
Each quarter, Husky reports on its progress for benefits and diversity, in submissions to the Canada-Newfoundland Offshore Petroleum Board. Those reports can be found here.
The West White Rose Project public information office is located in the Placentia Mall, on Blockhouse Road in the Town of Placentia. The office is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and is staffed with an Information Officer available to answer questions and provide information to the public on the project.
